As a first time landlord, I was attracted to Walton and Allen due to their knowledge on the new Nottingham Selective Licensing and their experienced staff. I found them warm and welcoming, especially Ricky Benwell who is the Investment Manager for Walton and Allen. When we met, he advised me that his task was to achieve as much rent possible for my investment, he achieved over £75 more than I was expecting. My whole experience with Walton and Allen can only be deemed as extremely positive. From finding me a tenant to sourcing furniture or providing maintenance quotes, it was effortless. I was very impressed and would recommend Ricky and the company to friends and family, as such they’ll be valuing my mums house for sale.
Most helpful and supportive agency I’ve ever been a client of! Whenever I reported the slightest thing being wrong they went over and beyond to help me! Never had any dispute with them and I would happily recommend Walton & Allen to any of my friends! Thank you very much for the best letting I had so far! Zoe and Tracy are the best 😉
Walton and Allen provided us with a great service. They handled the complete sale without any problem; they gained us the full asking price; and were fully cooperative throughout, actually phoning us on a number of occasions to keep us up-to-date with matters when our solicitors failed to do so. We cannot praise them enough for the way they handled the sale and we strongly recommend them.
I am very happy with the service that was provided by Scott Wilkinson of Walton & Allen. It was a very difficult purchase and without his help I would not be able to complete it. He was very thorough, responsive and competent. A few times the purchase was very close to collapsing, but his hard work and persistent enabled to progress it further and finally complete. Walton and Allen itself could be a bit more vocal when changing people responsible for a case. I was not informed about such a change on two occasions, which was very frustrating, especially given problems I had encountered during purchase. But since Scott became responsible for this case I had no issues whatsoever and have only prise for him.
Shocking at getting back to you. Can’t comment on the sales department but lettings in my experience is awful. Landlord is terrible at replying to the agency and sorting maintenance (says the agency). Whether it’s the agency failing to communicate with the landlord or the landlord terrible at communicating with the agency, I don’t know. But in my opinion, none of those should be happening. If it is the landlord then the agency needs to start accepting and holding stricter contracts with landlords and ensuring they are reliable landlords. At the end of the day the customer is the heart beat of the business. I am the customer and I am not impressed at all. And at this rate, do I want to stay on with them for much longer or would I recommend it to anyone? Answer is No.
