Royston & Lund were amazing. We have just got the keys to our first house and we could not have done it with out them, especially Samantha from the West Birdgford office. If you are thinking about selling your property through them they are fanatic from a buyers perspective.

Unfortunately this is my worst experience ever with an estate agency .
Eliot, the agent dealing with the purchase is an amateur and unprofessional … at the beginning he was calling for an update every other day ..once we completed the purchase he failed to respond to 3 of my emails .. he’s not bothered anymore because he’s had his money already … disgrace !
Lots of communications issue throughout the process …
Eliot’s senior colleague in the branch is equally unprofessional .. I called him few hours after I collected my keys ( I think he handed over the keys to me as well ) asking about the house water meter .. he promised to call the previous landlord and get back to me within hours and guess what , I am still waiting for his response
… it’s been 1.5 months now …
I had to call my emergency cover to sort the water issue.
There are other issues in the property and some keys age missing … things that can sorted maybe if I can get in touch with the previous landlord but these bunch of unprofessionals are just not responding to my emails …they used to respond within minutes before the purchase was completed ..
Unfortunately my experience with this branch ( Elliott and his senior colleague whom I can’t recall his name ) is terrible …
Avoid this branch if possible …
I really hope their manager will read this review and act accordingly… I am yet waiting for someone to reply to my emails …
Useless agency, don’t complete a request when asking things to be fixed for example the boiler. Refuse to resolve an issue with rats. I ensured the house was spotlessly cleaned before we left, we left the house in better condition than it was given to us and they complained the house was not clean! Awful agency don’t recommend.
Try to avoid renting properties from them, Royston and Lund try to deduct every penny of your deposit from you. I have lived at this apartment for 6 years, there should be reasonable wear and tear. Instead, they charge me £708.00 for cleaning, which it is ridiculous and unacceptable. They even hire the cleaners to carry out the work without informing you. I believe I have the right to know the quotation from the cleaners. A little apartment took the cleaners 36 hours to do the job. I wonder at what pace they did the job.
In addition, I had inspection every 3 months, and I always kept the apartment tidy, had some problems with the lights and bathtub, and I was told they would send someone to fix them, but never came. In the end, they just added all the costs on.
If you rent a property from them, please bear in mind you must keep the property condition exactly the same as you moved in.
Our experience with Royston and Lund was with the wonderful Samantha Simkins. From the very start she was on hand to answer all of our queries and worked tirelessly on our behalf to make sure everything went through as smoothly as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and even after we had exchanged and had a few problems she knew exactly who to contact to resolve. She was always quick to reply and kept us informed every step of the way. That communication helped get us through what was a really stressful 4 months (none of it Samantha’s fault may I add!) I cannot recommend her and in turn Royston and Lund as even from our initial enquiry the rest of the staff where a fount of knowledge and advice and messages were always passed along quickly. I would heartily recommend them again. 5 stars!
